This blog in intended to be a documentation of my personal journey to health and wellness. As I begin this blog, I am 26 years old but like to pretend that I will be turning 25 (for the third time) at my next birthday (I decided to turn 25 until I start feeling healthy enough to get older).
I am on my way to LA to undergo three months of intensive acupuncture treatment in the hopes that it will send my recently diagnosed Chrohn’s disease into remission- never to appear again. It has been a three-year struggle to get a diagnosis and I will document the journey that lead me to where I am today.
With an undergraduate degree in fashion and three years working in advertising, once my three months of treatment are complete, I will be going back to school to study holistic nutrition in the hopes that I will be able to not only heal myself, but heal others as well. After all, looking pretty in a good outfit means nothing if you feel like shit.
